StringWorks began with the goal of providing the highest quality instruments for rental and purchase. When our founding officers searched for the best available instruments for this purpose, we found that no instrument lines currently available fulfilled all our high criteria -exceptional sound, high quality workmanship, uniqueness of appearance, specifications meeting or exceeding those set by MENC, ease of playing, and lastly, affordability. We decided that in order to assure that we could supply these instruments to our customers, we had to design them ourselves.
